Christopher D. Soriano-Palma (he/him/his) is a poet born and raised in Watsonville, CA. He earned his MFA at the University of San Francisco and moved to Los Angeles soon after. Since then, his writing has appeared in numerous publications. He continues to live in LA and is hard at work on his screenplays, novels, and stage plays.

Jessica Erin Martin
Actor, writer, and producer hailing from Seattle, Jess (she/her) has written short & feature films, web series, a mental health PSA, and her solo play, Bless This Jess. She was a founding member of 14/48 Hollywood and its first Managing Director. She's part of the SAG Award winning ensemble cast of Christopher Nolan’s Oscar winning film, Oppenheimer, and is also known for providing the voice for Samus Aran in Nintendo’s, Metroid: Other M.

Makena Metz
Makena Metz is a Writer & Songwriter for the Page, Screen, and Stage. She has an MFA in Creative Writing and MA in English from Chapman University. Makena is an alum of Sam Carner’s Musical Creators Institute Program and New Musical Inc’s CORE Curriculum for Musical Theatre Writing. Phinneas Kiyomura
Phinneas Kiyomura (he/him) is a playwright, screenwriter, and skate punk from Long Beach, CA. His plays have been produced at Bespoke Plays, Theatre of NOTE, Padua Playwrights, and Sacred Fools. His most recent play, NIMROD (2023), won STAGE RAW’S BEST COMEDY WRITING AWARD. As a screenwriter, he has written for ABC, Freeform (TWISTED), Amazon (AZUMI), and NETFLIX (AVATAR THE LAST AIRBENDER).

Vanessa Bloom
Vanessa Bloom (she/her) a Chinese Jewish American writer, educator, and filmmaker from Orange County, California. Her work has been featured in HeyAlma, The Braid Jewish Theater, NFFTY, South Eastern European Film Festival, Mixed Asian Media Festival, and more. She has a B.A. in History from California State University, Long Beach and is a Los Angeles Community Leader for The LUNAR Collective, the first organization by and for Asian Jews.

Zach L. Wilson
Zach L. Wilson (he/him) is thrilled to be participating in his first 14/48! He’s a writer, originally from NY, who came up through the sketch comedy scene. Since moving to LA, Zach has written for the Emmy-winning interactive sci-fi series “Artificial,” sketch/news show “Game Engine” for Geek & Sundry, and is currently the head writer for the Art Directors Guild Awards (which is in two weeks, so his caffeine marathon really only BEGINS this weekend).

Abel Marquez (He/Him) is an award winning freelance Latiné director, playwright, and arts administrator. He has worked with organizations such as MACLA (San Jose), Center Theatre Group (Los Angeles), Latine Musical Theatre LAB (New York), and more. He currently serves as a Vice Chair for the Kennedy Center Theatre Festival, as Project Manager for URTA (New York), and as a Resident Teaching Artist at Segerstrom Center for the Arts (OC, CA).

Alvin E. Ford Jr.
Alvin E. Ford Jr. (he/him) is a multi-hyphenated creative with a proven track record in nonprofit administration & management, event planning, producing, intimacy coordinator/directing, and freelance director. He has worked at Theatre503 in London, Studio Theatre, Theatre J, Arena Stage, and Antaeus Theatre.

Grace Kimball - Saturday
Grace Kimball (she/her/per/pers) is a doctoral candidate in UC Santa Barbara's theater department and researches early modern English performance behaviors. She also works as an educator at her university and helps her graduate peers with their professionalization goals. Grace is the Shakespeare Association of America Graduate Committee co-chair and a fitness enthusiast. In her spare time, she freelances as a theater director, playwright, and intimacy director.

Mara Palma
Mara Palma (she/her) is grateful to return to 14/48 Hollywood, this time as a director! Recent highlights as a director and associate/assistant director include Disney THE TALE OF MOANA (Disney Cruise Lines) and THE LARAMIE PROJECT (Culver City High School's AVPA). Mara's WHY is to help people connect to their Inner Child, so that they can live the highest versions of themselves.

Mike (he/him) is a director, singer, and actor who is excited to make his 1448 debut after being a behind the scenes participant for the last two years. He is also the creator of Southern Bard @southerbardla. More projects coming soon, so stay tuned!

Shayne Eastin (she/they) is a director, writer and performer from Los Angeles, California. She is a 14/48 rookie and can't wait to see it all come together.

Stacey Weingarten
Stacey is an Emmy-winning multi-hypenate, and multi-medium director. Her specialties are Musicals, Puppetry, and Kids' Media (but not only for-kids media!)-- with an eye for development, she lives to take projects from idea to execution. Favorite stage projects include family musicals Rescue Rue (Off-Broadway) & Runaway Rue (Fringe), historical-fiction Ink & Paint (by Danielle E. Moore), sci-fi rock opera Ludo’s Broken Bride (NYMF). Zoe Lesser (she/her) is a director and choreographer working across theater, opera, and dance.
Recent productions include Heroes of the Fourth Turning by Will Arbery, a body-horror, multimedia, re-imagining of Agnes of God by John Pielmeier, and The Nether by Jennifer Haley. She has been an assistant director at Denver Center Theatre Company, La Jolla Playhouse, and Steppenwolf Theatre Company.

Amanda Boé
Amanda (she/her) has a BFA in Performance and has been studying theatre her entire life. She has worked as an actor as well as a designer in costume, hair, makeup, set, and prop departments. Her dream is to be an animation voiceover artist but has a passion for all aspects of theatre. Above all, her true calling is to make people laugh and feel good. We hope she brings you joy tonight!

Carol Tagawa
Carol Tagawa (she/her), originally from Hawaii, now calls Los Angeles home. She has experience in theater, commercials, modeling, film, and television. Her skills include Spanish proficiency, Latin ballroom, weightlifting, stick shift driving, and horticulture. An avid traveler and scuba diver, she also cherishes caring for her 7-year-old parrot. Along with continuing to refine her craft through ongoing training she is also developing her skills in dance and fight choreography.

Christie Coran
Christie (she/her) is an actor, a teaching artist, and a director here in LA. As an actor, she has worked with such theatres as Steppenwolf, Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, Peninsula Players, Theatre at the Center, the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, 16th Street Theatre, and others. Heather Hawkins
Heather Hawkins (she/her) is an LA based award-winning actor, director, and teaching artist. She spent 30 years working in theater and the performing arts in the Seattle area working with Seattle Public Theater, Seattle Shakespeare Company, Wooden O, Village Theater, Arts West, Taproot Theater, Intiman, ACT, 14/48 Productions, Book-It Theater and Sandbox Radio-LIVE. Imani Alis
Imani Alis (they/them) is a raised Angelino from South LA, now living in the valley. When not in the spotlight, you can find them cracking open a fantasy novel in front of their 10 hour crackling fireplace on Youtube casted on their TV. They were previously seen in A Midsummer Night's Dream as Peter Quince for the Hollywood Fringe Festival this past summer. They are gleeful for another storytelling opportunity!

Jamie Gallo
Jamie Gallo (they/them/theirs) is an emerging director, actor, movement director and proud LA native. As a filmmaker, Jamie's film Rehearsal, about school gun violence, is rounding the festival circuit and being used to spark dialogue amongst activists and students. Most recently Jamie acted in Stone Fruit Arts production of LINES at the Hollywood Fringe Festival. When not onstage or on set, you can find them leading movement workshops or camping with friends.

Jaq Shannon
Jaq Shannon (she/they) is a Theatre Educator and Performance Artist from Chicago, IL. She holds a BFA in Acting and is working toward her second degree in American Sign Language. Last year she performed with the 14/48 Hollywood band.

Joshua Lincoln
Joshua (he/him) is an actor and writer originally from Dallas, TX. This is his second year being a part of the festival and he’s excited for another crazy theatre experience. When he’s not performing, he can be found hiking, swimming or going on sunrise jogs at the beach. He’s an avid reader and gardener.

K-Ledani
Born in Los Angeles, K-Ledani (he/him/his) is an actor, writer who is thrilled to make his 14/48: Hollywood debut. He has been passionate about acting since he was a child, he got his start performing on stage in community theatre. He secured a B.A in Theatre Arts at Loyola Marymount University in May '22. When not on set, you can find him reading a mystery novel, binging anime, or logging films on his Letterboxd.

Kiki Lee
Kiki Lee (She/They) is a Korean American multi-hyph from the PNW, where 14/48 was born. Kiki has been seen on shows such as Hulu’s The Dropout, FX’s American Horror Stories, Insecure on HBO, and The Neighborhood for CBS (credited as Kari Lee Cartwright). Catch her upcoming ep of Matlock, and in some rad commercials w Idris Elba for ServiceNow! Shout out to her peeps at Stuart Rogers Studios, the best community an actor could ask for, and to her Bubs, the best partner this human could want for. It’s a mad, mad world... stay squishy inside.

Luka Salib
Luka Salib (he/him) is an Egyptian American actor, painter, and songwriter. He is recently accredited with playing Orpheus in Sarah Ruhl's Eurydice in conjunction with composing and performing the productions soundtrack. Luka Salib devotes his artwork, music, and acting to the pursuit and exploration of love and its many forms; and, as an Egyptian American artist, he pursues cultural exploration and decolonization in his visual and performing arts.

Luke Stanaway
Michigan native Luke Stanaway (he/him) is a proud SAG-AFTRA member with a background in theatre, sketch and improv. He’s a graduate of iO West and has directed several short films. On stage he was most recently seen performing Heaven, an original one man play in both Los Angeles and New York.

Molly Kaufman
Molly (she/her) is a comedian and actor. She founded and runs the musical sketch team Critical Booby (@criticalbooby), while performing with the sketch team Pillow Fort, studying at The Groundlings, and writing. Monika Elmont
Monika Elmont (she/they) is an actor, writer, and comedian based in Los Angeles, Califor-N-I-A. They have a BFA in Theatre with a concentration in Original Works from Cornish College of the Arts. In her free time, you can catch Monika writing sketch comedy, hiking with friends, and blasting ‘Wicked’ in her car.

Nichole Elise
Nichole (she/her) enjoys living this life with a curious mindset and a thirst for learning and evolving. Requiring stimulation and use of both sides of the brain, Nichole makes a living in both the Arts as well as Business industries professionally. With personal practices such as meditation, yoga, gratitude, immersion in nature; she frequently experiences whatever she’s engaged in on a high level. This is her first 14/48 and is thrilled to be involved!

Nick Roy
Nick Roy (he/him) is an actor, writer, and singer/songwriter. He most recently played Prior in Angels in America with Sidereal Productions, and wrote and directed an original one act play, "Between the Pages" As part of Conundrum's one-act festival. He also co-wrote and acted in an original fringe show "Our American Tragedy" in the 2024 Hollywood Fringe Festival. He has also released bedroom indie-pop music that is available on all streaming platforms.

Nicole Gabriella Scipione
"Nicole Gabriella Scipione breaks hearts." Or so her cat Langston claims. Plus Stage Raw re: Lucas Hnath's Obie Award winning The Christians. Nicole failed to save Daryl Hannah from sharks in TNT's Shark Swarm, served William Peterson cocktails (CSI), crushed on Chad Lowe (Hallmark's Fielder's Choice), & worked regionally, including The Kirk Douglas Theatre & PlayMakers Repertory Company (Ayad Akhtar's Disgraced). Rhiannon Brady
I’m Rhiannon Brady (he/she/they)! I’ve been acting for (almost) 15 years, and I’m so excited to participate in 14/48! Collaboration is my favorite part of this art-form, and I can’t wait for you all to see what we have made! Ps. Come visit my mom and I’s thrift shop, Uptown Cheapskate in Torrance! You won’t regret it, I swear it on the new, and second hand gods.

Tagger Skomsky
Tagger (he/him) is an actor from Philadelphia who most recently preformed in Marcus Folmer’s original play “Chicken Stories” here at the Broadwater Main Stage. You can also see him preform with Riot Shakespeare around the corner at Three Clubs.

Tess Aubert
Tess (they/them) made their feature debut starring in the independent romantic comedy Breaking Them Up for which they have received critical acclaim. You may recognize them from recurring as the ditsy BFF in NBC’s Mr. Mayor or from leading as the type-A sister in Quinta Brunson’s Up For Adoption. Currently, they collaborate with fellow multi-hyphenate creatives and look forward to training in London at RADA later this February!

Cameron Holt
Cameron Holt (he/him) is a tubist based out of Southern California who has worked with ensembles such as the Disneyland Band and the Denver Brass while freelancing in both classical and commercial spaces. He prioritizes the joy of music-making to his students and audiences alike and is always seeking new creative endeavors in which he can share his passion for the tuba.

Jordan Wainwright
Jordan Wainwright (she/they) here. I'm a So-Cal-based musician with not one, but *two* degrees in trombone (an excessive amount for trombone, I know). But I put those degrees to good use: I tour internationally, perform at world-renowned venues from Disney Hall to The Mint, appear in film and television, and arrange/orchestrate for artists such as Ginger Root, hell! I'm even published in the International Trombone Association Journal. Like you'd care. It's fine though.

Katie Canavan
Katie Canavan (she/her) is a musician, actor, writer, and composer. She wrote and composed “Meet Me On The Mountain,” an original musical in partnership with Taylor Stephenson. If you don’t blink, you can see her singing, dancing, and sometimes playing accordion in films and TV. Katie is also a textile artist and one half of The Darling Kathleens, a vintage songstress duo. www.katiecanavan.com

Lina Davalos
Lina Davalos (she/her) is a live and session drummer based in Los Angeles. She works with artists across many different genres including acts like Tough Luck, Trinity Alaina and High Priestess.

Mike Adams
Mike Adams (he/him) is a musician, guitar technician, writer, Star Trek enthusiast, and the guitar specialist at Julien's Auctions. He enjoys coaxing weird and wonderful sounds from his instruments, which he has been doing for over 30 years, trying new hot sauces, solving mysteries, and living it up with his wife Charissa and his dog Lilac.

Zoe Mark
Zoe Mark (she/her) is a Los Angeles based trumpet player and multi-media artist. She is interested in combining textile arts and music to create an immersive concert experience. Having earned her Bachelor of Music from the UNCSA and Master of Music in Trumpet Performance from Shenandoah University, she plays with all types of ensembles from musical theatre, orchestra, big band, and chamber music. She is excited to be playing with 14/48 Hollywood.

Andrea Tufekcic
Andrea Tufekcic (she/her) is a lab safety specialist for UC Santa Barbara and has always loved theater, from acting to costuming. Her previous credits include Bel-Imperia in The Spanish Tragedy and Antonia in The Tempest.

Deedee Anderson
Deedee Anderson (she/her) is a performer and visual artist who co-founded the theater troupe Freak Nature Puppets in 2022 and co-hosts the concert series What the Zone?! at Scribble in highland park. She loves building imaginary worlds with her friends.

Hannah Schnabel
Hannah is a maker, a dreamer, a doer. She has been working in theatre since childhood, both on stage and off, and now she manages a team of professional clothing makers, ensuring a perfect fit on every garment.

Maria Abrahamian
Maria Abrahamian (they/them) is a Midwestern Armenian installation artist and sculptor located in Los Angeles. Their work primarily centers around autobiography, memory, queer timelines, and food. They have acted as set designer for Long Beach based dance series "Show n Tell" producing bizarre domestic spaces, and scale shifted performance props. Their current work utilizes easily found materials such as cardboard, aluminum foil and paint– referencing craft through the lens of childhood and the economically oppressed.

Olivia Bievenue
Olivia Bievenue (she/they) is a PhD student at UC Santa Barbara, where she studies early modern English drama and performance. She is especially interested in how theater practitioners translate and stage early modern drama for a contemporary audience. To explore this interest, Olivia co-founded a theater company in Santa Barbara and currently serves as the company’s artistic director. Olivia has directed numerous community productions, including The Spanish Tragedy, The Tempest, King Lear, and Julius Caesar.

Andrew J. Roberts - Lighting Designer
Andrew Roberts (he/him) is thrilled to make his return to 14/48! A Nebraska-born lighting designer, Andrew has found himself spending 7 years working on shows such as Zanna, Don’t!, Neighborhood 3: Requisition of Doom, and most recently Newsies! Since the last 14/48 Festival, Andrew has also found himself working the Short and Sweet Hollywood Festival, Anyway Production's Greenhouse Festival and their Double Feature, and Conundrum Theatre Company's New Works Festival! Andrew is ecstatic to jump back into the absolute chaos that is lighting 14 plays in 48 hours. He would like to thank his family and friends for supporting him through all these crazy lighting dreams, even when it means being in the theatre until dawn. (Sorry, mom.) And thank you to all the wonderful people he's met along the way, and who lead him to each new adventure. Lauren Currie - Stage Manager
Lauren (she/her) is so happy to be working with 14/48 Hollywood for the 3rd time! She has a background in theater, and holds a BFA in Directing from Cornish College of the Arts. She currently works as a commercial producer, and does freelance creative and story development work in the film and TV industry.
