Directors

Grace Kimball (she/her/per) is a third-year Ph.D. student at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and studies English performance behaviors in the fifteenth and sixteen centuries. She is also one of the founders and an Artistic Director for The Public Domain Players. Grace is currently working on her Ph.D. qualifying exams and writing her adaptation of The Tragedy of Mariam, which she will direct with her company in Isla Vista at the beginning of 2023.

Mark Dias (he/him) After many festivals in Seattle this will make this Marks 11th 1448, as a director or actor

Lauren is a producer and director based in Los Angeles, CA. Lauren holds a BFA in Directing from Cornish College of the Arts, and she has directed numerous original plays, and developed productions for theater festivals around the country as an original founding member of boom! Theater Company. More recently she has worked in commercial and documentary production, helping create series and shows with Nike, MGM, Google, Warner Bros. Jack in the Box, and more.

Alvin E. Ford, Jr. has directed We Fight, We Die at the Mead Theatre Lab, The XX Chromosome Genome Project at the Strand Theater; assistant directed Lungs and Passing Strange for Studio Theatre, and The Chosen for Theater J.

He has directed several staged readings for the Atlanta Black Theatre Festival, Artist Bloc, and the DC Queer Theater Festival.

Alvin holds an MA in Arts Policy and Management from the University of London.

Marrissa Coccaro has been directing since 2006, she worked with various Chicago Storefront Theaters before moving to LA to pursue a career in film production. Recently, she's helped coordinate productions for Netflix, Meta, Mercedes, and Fox Sports. Marrissa is grateful to 14/48 for giving her the opportunity to get back to the stage!

Sarafina is an LA based comedian, writer, and director, with an unhealthy love for winning the approval of strangers.
Before moving to Los Angeles, Sarafina performed improv and sketch comedy around Chicago, including at the Second City and Improv Olympic. You can now find her doing stand-up around LA, training at The Groundlings Theater, and directing both for stage and screen. She wants to thank her family and friends (and cake) for their constant love and support!

Malin Hayden is an LA-based actor and director who is excited to be making her LA theatrical directing debut with 14/48! She has recently been seen directing and assistant directing in shows such as Batesville Robbers Cooking Club, Frozen Jr., The Show Must Go Online, and Julius Caesar. She would like to thank the 14/48 team, her cast, crew, friends, and family for all the wonderful love and support.
